I think my next step is to find the court house & start asking questions. What do you think? Dawn Hi Dawn, Sorry I did not get to finish last night. Here are the census records I have for the Iron Co., Missouri group. Let me know if you would like any of the information from these. Take care - Emma William C. Eddington 1850 - Wayne Co., Mo 1860 - Iron Co., Mo. Jacob Ivester who married Mary Jane Carnahan 1850 - Wayne Co., Mo 1860 - Iron Co., Mo 1880 - Iron Co., Mo 1900 - Iron Co., Mo 1910 - Iron Co., Mo Died 1911 Have additional census on Jacob and Mary Jane's children. Elizabeth Ivester 1850 - Wayne Co., Mo 1860 - Iron Co., Mo Wish we could find what happened to her. Did she die young or did she marry? Cary L. Ivester 1850 - Wayne Co., Mo 1860 - Iron Co., Mo. Same thing here - wish we could find what happened to her. Did she die young or did she marry? I also show 4 Eddington children for William C. Eddington and Cary: James F. Lucinda Lawson Nancy L. These children are in the 1860 census. Does anyone have these children in later census records? Wish we could find William Eddington and Cary in some census later than 1860. Also wish we could find where William Eddington and Cary married. AND... don't forget that John Ivester in the 1850 census of York Co., SC. We have yet to match him up with a family. Nor have I found him in the 1860 census - has anyone else?????? Based on this census he would have been born abt. 1820. In the 1850 census he is shown with wife Sarah and son William born abt 1849. Could this John Ivester be the father of Jacob, Elizabeth, and Cary Ivester who are in the 1850 census of Wayne Co., Mo with William C. Eddington? We have always assumed that Jacob's (who married Mary Jane Carnahan) father was deceased. What if John Ivester and Cary divorced or ended their marriage in some way and she then married William C. Eddington? Remember that in the 1820 census John Ivester and Elizabeth Helms are shown with 2 sons under the age of 5. That is the last census we have found this John Ivester and Elizabeth Helms. But.... could one of those sons have been the John Ivester who was father of the Jacob Ivester who married Mary Jane Carnahan? And... could that other son in 1820 be the Jacob Ivester who married Nancy Massey and is in the 1850 census of Walker Co., Ga?
