No.. your problems with sending e-mail are not with this site. AOL has made a change and it is really messing everyone up. First of all, will send you some directions on how to do it now with AOL - by the way.. it is mostly impacting those folks who are on the new version 6 although have seen some ver. 5 folks having problems also. And.. then... I think we all need to flood AOL with complaints and make sure that you copy every complaint to Steve Case as well. If he and their tech folks get enough complaints maybe they will do something about it and get it straightened out. Now.. here are the directions.. AOL 6.0 users: Instructions for sending mail in plain text RootsWeb users report the following method will enable AOL version 6.0 users to send plain text e-mails, which will be accepted by our mailing list servers. 1. Compile your e-mail 2. Right click inside the text box 3. Click Select All (at the bottom of the menu) 4. Right Click in the text box again 5. Click Text 6. Click Normal 7. Send the e-mail in the usual way Oh.. one more thing... this is really impacting mail to locations other than RootsWeb also. I have some mail lists that are not RootsWeb and they are having the same problem with messages from AOL. So.. depending on what you are on you might run into problems elsewhere also. Take care - Emma
