Emma, I may have made a faux paux, here. Jacob taught school in Winterville and probably when school was out he worked in Gainesville. Seems to me I have hear two stories on this one. One that he was also a brick layer, another that he was a peddler. Efither say he seemed to have traveled around this area a bit. Wish I had a real good map (detailed) of that area. Now as for Jacob in Coweta county- I cannot explain this, other than I know the Arnold family had some connection with the Gable family. I am wondering if Jacob was there visiting, or perhaps he may have taught school there and stayed with friends or relatives. Judy
