    1. Re: [IVESTER] Gables & Ivester - part 2
    2. Check out Jacob's last daughter Margaret A. and her birth date. Jacob would have had to have been with Jaley Ann in 1873 in order to consieve this last daughter. I believe that the other Jacob appeared in Jackson County before that date!!! I have as ,Phillip Gable, the dates and occurrances of both of these "Jacobs" . Let me pull up the file and review it again-for safetys sake. For some reason I think we found a flaw or question about all of this and why we have not come to a possible decision on this possibility. I shall take another look at it all. I guess I also tried to locate some old school records from Gainesville, where Jacob taught school, trying to estimate when the last date that he taught might have been. Looking for some real documentation before jumping to any conclusions! Will get back to ya on this one, Emma. I also don't want to upset the Gable family until I am certain. Or perhaps they knew something, but told this story to protect the children. It does amaze me as to the similiarities. Also find it funny that a man would just disappear into thin air without a trace. But either way is possible. You other info agrees with mine except for a few things. Someone reported to me that Thomas Arrendale married a Miss Leferve. ???? Yes, Melberry and Joel were siblings. I still am not certain as to the John Gable who mentioned as being a grandson and his idenity. And the name Caldonia has been bugging me for quite a while!! I will chedk out our Gable Web site and see if there is anthing there about them. but have never heard much about this Caldonia. with a name like that I am certain that most would remember it. Joseph, and Warren we have little info on, also. I am more active on the Ivester list than I am on the Gable list. Don't think there is very much action, there. Judy
