Good Evening Everyone, The list has certainly gone quiet so I guess everyone is busy. I know I have been rather busy. I also know that there are some messages I need to respond to and will try to do so in the next couple of days. I did want to let all of you know what a nice evening my family and I had last Friday. Mike Ivester from Missouri was in town for a conference and he was able to come out to the house for a while. I understand that several of you have already had the pleasure of meeting him. We really did have a grand visit. AND... he did a admirable job of surviving Shannon, Shawn, and 4 dogs not to mention me.... <g>. He really impressed everyone when we realized that Snickers (our oldest dog) was quite taken with him. The unusual thing about this is that Snickers was an abused dog and was beaten by two young men who had her for the first 18 months of her life. Not only was she beaten but she was locked in a closet for long hours and they also managed to crush her hip which required surgery. So she is often quite hesitant around men. Yet here she was - going over to sit by him and asking him to pet her. As I said, we had a grand visit - shared information - talked about some Ivester puzzles and in general had a very nice time indeed. Hope all of you had a great weekend as well. Take care - Emma
