My "brickwalls" are: DOS(C)IE BEATRICE CHAPPA(E)LL. She was born 19 Jul 1883 in (?)Bon Aqua, Hickman Co., TN. Parents unknown, siblings (?). She married JOHN BENJAMIN REDDEN, born 22 Apr 1882, in Dickson, Dickson Co., TN, son of JOHN WILEY REDDEN and NANCY JANE DUNIGAN. On the 1900 (?) Census, it has her living with her father-in-law, in his house, it also states that she was born in Stewart Co., TN.. Have been "hitting my head on proverbial brickwall" for almost 5 years. Need some help on this lady. She always told us she was "full blood" Cherokee and to see her in pictures, there would be no doubt. Her husband was also reportedly "full blood" Cherokee, but haven't found definite proof of that yet. Only their pictures tell the story, so far. Also need some info on another "brickwall" whose name is: ROBERT GUY MATHIS, born 31 Aug 1907 and married Docie and John's daughter, LAURA MAY REDDEN in 1929 in HUMBOLDT, GIBSON CO., TN.. Have no idea who his parents were and if he had any siblings. Any and all help on these "brickwalls" will be greatly appreciated.
