My brick wall is my maternal grandmother MARY ELISABETH BURTON born ADAIR COUNTY KENTUCKY in 1880. She has Indian blood but finding her family is a HUGH brickwall. I have a hand written note from 1898 , it was to verify her age of eighteen to be married. The note was signed by a JAMES W. BURTON who was living in Russell County Ky , this could be her grandfather or uncle, I am not sure. The note stated that both of her parents died when she was very young and her mothers name was LOUISIA. My aunt by marriage left a note that was found at her death and it stated that my grandmothers father was a LOVELESS. This all the information I have. Bonnie
