Attn Karen: My gg-grandparents are John VanBuren Crow, 1835, Dalton GA. Married Josephine Kirby, 1842, They married in Alabama then moved to Sherman Texas, had several children and are buried there. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth Crow, 1864, married James (LL) Elonza Gibson, 1861, of Wise County, Texas about 1882. They moved into the Chikasaw Nation, Carter County (Ara) Indian Territory about 1886. I don't know of the Crow's having Indian Blood but the Gibson's are Eastern Cherokee from GA and MS. I do not find that there is a connection of our Crow's. I entered mine hoping I could help someone else or I would get some information for my Surnames. Armenta.......
