    3. I am searching for any information about my grandmother's family. I don't know her parents first names. Her name was Eliza McCurry BAILEY. She married my grandfather, John Curtis MORSE, in 1888 in Pickens County at the home of E.C. BAILEY. I have been told that she was a Cherokee Indian, but I have nothing concrete to go on. John Curtis Morse's father was Elias Curtis MORSE and he moved from Missouri to Grayson County Texas, but one source says he died in Indian Territory. I have not been able to find record of his death. She had borthers and at least her father alive in 1946-47 time frame and they were still in the area but can find no mention of them in the 1920 or 1930 census. Court records state she was of Indian and Irish descent with no other details given. My Grandfather was Horace Simmons, but no info as to his birth etc. are listed. Any Info would be appreciated.
