    3. Oh....no...I was just wondering when and if it would be available for the public like it is on-line and in books. I lived in Chickasaw Nation for awhile until my kids got homesick...LOL...being a Citizen doesnt do anything for you unless you live there, then they have nice programs for people. I loved it there I felt like I was home not because of what they do but because of the people, I would go back rather I was a citizen or not. 3. Barbara, Ancestry.com has entries for Sarah Canoe. Most show her father as Chief Dragging Canoe and her mother as Leaf. Sarah listed as Sarah "Naky" Canoe. Donald Panther-Yates was one of the submitters. You can go to www.ancestry.com and see these entries yourself. Ancestry world tree is still a free site. You have to go in through the link that shows quick hit result or official site. Usually they are one and the same. Any other link and they may ask you to sign up for a 14 day free trial Just click on the link I sent you and see what happens. Wow, this is impressive, probably enough to get you admitted into the Cherokee nation. Several of these submitters showed Alexander and Sawney as one and the same person. Jackie Donald Panther-Yates email addy is dpanther@gasou.edu

    3. From what I've found so far - My G.G.Grandmother was born around 1862 - My GGG Grandmother listed a William (?) as 30 yrs old - but on the census she listed him as a boarder - not a son - so I'm confused - There were 12 Holmes' listed under Mary - but only 4 were listed as children - the rest were listed as Boarders - This was on the 1880 census for Waverly,Baltimore County, Maryland We thought perhaps if we did have any Indian Heritage it would be on the Holmes side - we found a pic of GGGrandMa Sarah and she was this tiny dark lady. ----- Original Message ----- From: SandKatC@aol.com To: IT-INDIAN-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2003 2:16 AM Subject: Re: [IT-INDIAN] *Alexander* In a message dated 7/9/03 10:47:04 PM, donnapich66@hotmail.com writes: << Are your Alexander's enrolled with the Chickasaw Nation?
