    3. I will try to give you what I have - which isn't very much - Myersville, Frederick County, Maryland James Jackson was my GGrandfather - so far have not found my GGGrandfather Census states that his b/p was PA - He had either left GGrandma or died - my Dad was told he left. G My Grandfather was Charles Frederick Jackson (married Ruth Amanda Adkins) His brothers were: Tillman, George, Luther His sisters were: Ida, Cora E. Census states that my GGrandmother (Holmes-Parents Horatio & Caroline) had 7 children - 6 living She raised Tillman's son - Wilbur Jackson All of my grandparents are gone. My Dad is James Nicholas Jackson - (married Avis Bondena Minnick) I am an only child Dad only had sisters: Elsie (Leatherman), Mary (Weddle), Helen Irene (Shank) If anything sounds familiar, I will be glad to advise you when I find more info - I have been concentrating more on the Holmes side - my Dad said he's been told that we are part Cherokee and I find that totally interesting and would like to pursue it - have not found any concrete evidence of that. Hopefully I have helped you - it would help me to, to be able to make a connection somewhere!! 3. My ancestor John PARKER was born in Dalton, Whitfield, Ga in Dec' 12, 1793. Whitfield was not a county until after the departure of the Cherokee in 1838. Until then, the area was known as "Cross Plains" and it was Cherokee Territory. John PARKER traveled from Cherokee Territory into Creek Territory and about the time the Creeks signed the Treatys which ceeded their lands, he and his family left Ga and moved to Conecuh, AL. His wife Winnie HUNT PARKER was Creek Indian. They married in Baldwin county and moved to Conecuh, AL abt.1821/2 Anyone have this in common? Thank you, Vonda

It would have a subject line of Re: [IT-INDIAN] in the subject line of the email. The rule of thumb is to never open an attachment from someone if you aren't expecting one. Email that person to see if they have sent you an attachment. AND, don't open email from people you don't know. 3. I just talked to one of the people that owned the e-mail address that sent the virus, It looks like somehow somebody has gotten into our mailing list and is using other peoples identity to send us a worm virus. Please notice the size of the e-mail and the subject of mail you receive. Subject will sound odd like DARLING,VISIBILITY,MARGINWIDTH and file size was well over 100K. Lets all make sure our subject lets us know that it is from family research and Im sorry to those that have just had their names used to do this to us. I dont know who to notify about this so I will leave that in the hands of the people that take care of the list....sorry....any input would be thankful. Donna

My ggrandmother Mollie Ellen Moss m. John Calvin Johnson. She was reported to be half native american. Mollie was b. in Ft Smith Ark according to death cert.I have looked in the rolls for her name as Mollie, Molly, Mary Moss and Johnson but nothing. I found them in 1910 in Davidson, Tillman Co Okla. But can not find them before that. My grandmother Maggie was born in 1889 (their oldest child, it think) and her death cert said she was born in Okla City. This has been my big big brick wall.
