    3. Just throwing out a general question. Is there anyone who has researched their family line of two PLUMLEY s   Henry and Rose Ellen (same name as Henrys sister) who  married 30th July 1888 and then  Henry changed his name from PLUMLEY to MORRIS after his natural MORRIS father finally married his mother who was a PLUMLEY too.   I have  a copy of Henry and Rose Ellen marriage certificate, which caused a lot of confusion at the start as you can guess especially as his natural sister had the same name as his bride. Henry and his bride emigrated to New York at the end of the 1891.  As much as I have researched over the years, it has been very difficult to locate their exact deaths in New York. The house they bought over there was finally razed in a scheme to  make way for a wider road. It is after then that I have lost where they both lived and died. They made several trips back to the Isle-of-Wight and on their voyages their ages often changed on the ships  passenger lists.   In  New York death lists  it did not always indicate the date of births , or where they were born, of either a Henry ot Rose Ellen  Morris deaths. On the last known US census when they lived at the house that was razed, their ages are given as both being 70 years when, for certain, there was a 2-3 years age gap. Thoroughly confused??  Me too.   It was through the dedicated kindness of Vanessa Marshall a few years back  that unravelled their births  and the reason why the same surname  appears on the marriage certificate To wrap things up it would be good to know if any descents  have been successful in finding those elusive deaths.  Has anyone else researched them?? Kind regard. April Clark    (nee MORRIS)  on the south coast of Hampshire
