Sue Scantlebury commented... >Did anyone else recieve an e mail from a PATRICK BAKAYOTO in West Africa >requesting bank details etc? All such solicitations are frauds, seeking to part you from your money. Trash them when they show up in your in-box. You'll see them claiming to originate in Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Niger, other African nations and even some from Great Britain, where some of these shysters operate. The story line in all is usually that some relation or friend died---spouse, father, son, cousin or uncle---leaving some millions of dollars on deposit in a bank somewhere but the person writing you needs your bank account and credit to gain access to the money. The truth is that there is no large sum of money on deposit anywhere and the writers of the emails are trying to get you to give them your bank account number, pin number, and/credit card number so they can empty your bank account or use your credit. Again, trash all such emails. And above all, do not respond!!! Kelvin Kean Elverson PA USA
