    3. Thanks Len for the very interesting contribution. It ties up a few loose ends as it lists my g/grandfather Benjamin WOODFORD's 2 brothers James and John and sister Caroline. The elder James and Ann are my g/g/ grandparents. She was Ann COTTON Carry is Caroline's illegitimate daughter. I have now found John's wife Amelia [PRITCHETT] - died giving birth to Elizabeth and was buried 1 May 1815 The other children are John and Amelia's. The only one missing is their eldest child John bap. 14 July 1844. I looked for a possible death but found none. It would be interesting to know if all the above were under the same roof. Would it be too difficult to establish if a WOODFORD was on Warlands farm, Shalfleet in 1851? In 1881 my g/grandfather Benjamin was there and in 1901 my g/g/uncle Frank WOODFORD was there Regards, Terence Woodford in sunny S. Africa
