First, I made an error in my previous request. It was the 1891 census, not the 1881 census, that showed Olive M PHILLIPS as the niece of Louis S WILLCOCKS and Sarah A WILLCOCKS (nee SMITH, married 2Q1888, b. 1Q1863). Since she was shown in 1891 census, it is unlikely that your Olive M PHILLIPS age 3 mo in 1891 is the same family, but could be a cousin of the one visiting Portsea age 4. As for WILLCOCKS females in the same family as Louis Squire WILLCOCKS, they have to fit between Oct 23 1852 when Henry John WILLCOCKS married Julia SQUIRE and 4Q1864 when he died. So far, the known children in this family are all male and all have the middle name Squire: Edmund Squire WILLCOCKS b. 4Q1856, Arthur Squire WILLCOCKS b. 4Q1860 and Louis Squire WILLCOCKS b. 3Q1863. Possibly the gap between 4Q1852 and 4Q1856 is filled by Henry William Squire WILLCOCKS b. 3Q1854, who was in Harwich, Essex, in 1881-1882, and the gap between 4Q1856 and 4Q1860 could be occupied by twin brothers Henry J WILLCOCKS and Thomas W D WILLCOCKS both b. 3Q1858. No female WILLCOCKS found in this period. Between 3Q1863 and 3Q1865, no female or male WILLCOCKS on FreeBMD yet. In fact neither Edmund Squire nor Louis Squire are yet on FreeBMD though a transcriber has given me their details and has submitted them, as well as my own lookups from 1997. At this point, I don't know of any female WILLCOCKS in this family that could have married a male PHILLIPS and gone to Bonchurch IOW to have their kids! Admittedly there may be a few WILLCOCKS entries in this period that haven't yet been entered, so I can't say for sure there aren't any. One other Olive PHILLIPS d. Jun 1895 age 0. There aren't any suitable births on FreeBMD yet, but one Olive Phillips d. age 0, I. Wight, in Mar 1886 (may be my Olive's predecessor? There's an Olive May b. Jun 1890, I. Wight, that is probably yours. Thanks again for your help and for previous requests you have done for me.
