    3. Ian I love a puzzle so here are some thoughts based on my own lot!! If Ann was a widow would she not have married as Bennett? So is the Jolliffe marriage the same person? Is she really widowed or was she just saying so for social nicety and avoid the stigma of divorce? He might have deserted her and left the island. Have you an age for George - there are three on the 1901 census of varying ages which might account for there being no record of his death! I didn't check those giving place of birth as IoW.
