G'day All. My name is James (aka, Seamus), my interest is in my great/great grandmother Charlotte ANDREWS. Who, on the 24th Aug,1824, married Benjamin WILLIS. The ceremony took place I'm told (Ann Barrett) in a non-conformist chapel (?) possibly Wesleyan. 4 children seem to have evolved from the marriage . Charlotte Andrews WILLIS. ------11 Sept, 1827 Nehemiah Andrews WILLIS -----11 Apr, 1830 Eliza Andrews WILLIS -------- 3 Feb, 1833 Louisa Andrews WILLIS ------- 3 Feb, 1833 Nehemiah is a bit of a mystery. There is no mention of him after his birth. On F M B. I found a Adeliza A WILLIS marriage to Alfred Caws, 1857, St Helens. Ref; COE 39.1/99. Could this be another child in addition to those above ? No mention of these two on I G I or 1881 census. I was on this list 2 years ago. I got "Bug bitten" & lost all my records. Have only just raised the courage to have another go. Many thanks Seamus.
