    3. Hi Seamus I note that you are interested in the ANDREWS family from Yarmouth - well my Grandmother's family on my father's side appear to come from that area of the Isle of Wight. Sadly my father is no longer with us so my brother is continuing the work he started. At the moment we do not have a lot so I wondered how much you have and whether you think your Gt/Gt/ Grandma might link into ours. This is what I have at present – note the red characters is my direct line: GENERATION 1 Henry ANDREWS (Mariner born circa 1795) married Mary Anne (surname unknown) GENERATION 2 Children - (a) Henry (baptised 1814 Yarmouth married Mary Ann bapt 1816), (b) Mary-Anne (baptised 1815), (c) Harriet (bapt 1819), (d) Jane (bapt 1821) and (e) Robert (bapt 1824) GENERATION 3 Children – (a) Mary Ann (bapt 1840), (b) Fanny (bapt 1843), (c) Henry (bapt 1846), (d) Lucy (bapt 1850 and (e) Frank (bapt 1854 married Jane bapt 1857) GENERATION 4 Children (a) Harry (bapt 1884, died 1932), (b) Elsie May (born 1894 married Reginald Clarence PRICE born 24 April 1891, died 20 April 1967), (c) Frank, (d) Frederick, (e) Roban, (f) Eleanor and (g) Francis Elsie May ANDREWS and Reginald Clarence PRICE were my grandparents. Hope it may be of some use. 3. Hi Beki. Many thanks for your help. At present I don't know if I can link to Henry ANDREWS. However I did find on I G I a possible lead to my Gt / Gt Grandmother. It appears she may have been one of five daughters, born to James & Jane Andrews. Maria ANDREWS. chrs, 17 June, 1798. Yarmouth. Harriot " " 28 March, 1802 " . Charlotte " " 28 March, 1802 " . Twins ? Sarah " " 28 Oct, 1804 " . Justina " " 24 Dec, 1809 " . Anne " " 11 Dec, 1814 " . ( Would 5 years gap be ( Too long ? ) All shown on I G I. batch # C166801. Except for Anne, who is on batch #C022159. At present this is all hopeful speculation, until verified by someone with access to parish records for Yarmouth. I am unable to find anything on the parents James & Jane ANDREWS. In the above list. Charlotte my 2nd/Grt, Grandmother married Benjamin WILLIS, 14 August, 1824. Which would make her 22 years of age. This union appears to have produced four children. Charlotte Andrews WILLIS. 11 Sep, 1827. Yarmouth. Nehemiah " " . 11 Apr, 1830. " . Eliza " " . 3 Feb, 1833. " . (Twins ? Louisa (aka Lucy A WILLIS. 3 Feb, 1833 " . " ) Charlotte married Richard L WHEELER 15 March, 1852. Nehemiah I can find no trace of. Louisa (Lucy) Married George TURNER (c 1856) moved to Portsea Is. She is my great grandmother. Unable to find marriage details, could have been on the Island or, in Portsea (Portsmouth) That is all I have at present. Any further input will be most gratefully received. Regards. James West OZ.
