Hello I am interested in the Sterling family who were on the 1901 census living at 4 St Johns Villa, Ryde. Charles H, 45 Ada L (nee Jacob) 36 Ruby 12 Roland 11 Gilbert 10 all born London Antoinette 7 Violet 6 Kathleen 4 Adela 1 all born IoW The IoW BDM site suggests that there is another child, David born later, and that all the girls married on the Island. Roland's death is recorded on the Commonwealth War Graves site for WW1. More than that I don't know. I am not sure at the moment if this family is 'mine' but I'd very much like to contact anyone who may be connected to this family or who could tell me more. Thank you in advance Debbie Beavis
