Greetings! I have some MIDLANEs in my tree but they are William, born 1790 and his wife Matilda CAWS, married 1814. Their daughter, another Matilda married into my YATES family. Midlane seems to have been a very common name at one time. I have another contact here in New Zealand who is also researching this name but we have not found a connection yet.
