Hi Everyone. My name is Jennifer and I am currently researching KITCHER/KITTIER. I did subscribe once before but have since changed my computer system and have not managed to retrieve all my past messages. I did have contact with someone with the name KETCHER in their tree, I now believe that these two names are from the same root. I have been unable to find KETCHER or KECHER on the 1851 census index, if anyone else has please correct me. I am coming to the island for a short holiday soon and I will be visiting the record office and the municipal cemetery, this will be my first visit. Can anyone tell me where the cemetery is located and how I would determine whether or not the grave I am seeking has a memorial? The line I am particularly interested in were Baptists, if you have any KITCHER/KITTIERS marrying into your lines I would love to hear from you, I am finding it hard to locate my ladies.
