Hello IOW list, Does anyone have access to the 1861 census of Yaverland. I'm trying to determine the background to one William Smith (Occupation Excavator) aged approx 29 years. Was he living with his parents at the time in Yaverland? According to later census records he was born in Norfolk. William's father was Robert Smith according to the Marriage Certificate of William to Rachel Woodmore on 6th October 1862 at the Parish Church Yaverland.
