    3. Hi I am new to this list but have been researching for over 10 years. At the moment I am focusing on my 2g grandmother's family. She was Ellen ISAACSON b 1828 Ewell, Surrey d 1856 Portslade, Sussex (ref. family documents, IGI), the first wife of Edward BLAKER, having married him 2March1848 in Freshwater, IOW (ref. Times newspaper). According to the Times she was the second daughter of the late Thomas ISAACSON of Brighton and was married by Rev J. F. ISAACSON, rector of Freshwater (was he an uncle or cousin?). I have found references to the Reverend John Frederick ISAACSON b1801 Suffolk, d1886 Freshwater who was a Canon of Winchester 1874-86. He married Rebecca STOKES 1840 (Alumni Cantabrigiensis) I am interested in any information about JFI and his family (at least two sons). The entry in the 1841 census would be of particular interest, as it might throw light on the relationship between the ISAACSONs in Brighton and IOW, but I am also interested in 1851, 1861 and 1871 census. Towards the end on C19 there seems to have been some connection with South America. I am following this branch of ISAACSONs in an effort to tie down the origins of these ISAACSONs. TIA Chris
