Hello List: I'm looking for information about my grandfather's oldest brother, William Edward BARNES, b. Farnham Surrey, 1878, married Alice Tredgett in Epping, 1901. He eventually landed on the IOW post-WWI, where he served as a police constable. Children married into the HUGHES and TOOGOOD families. I don't know where he lived on the Island. Is there any way of tracking police postings in the 1920s-30s time period? Thanks very much. Harold California
