The Ventnor Heritage Museum has a colour postcard of the Noah's Ark model entitled "The First Lifeboat". Our Curator, Graham Bennett, tells me that when Ventnor Station closed the model went to one of the attractions at Godshill. From there it went to the Woking Railwaymen's Retirement Home and then to a station at Bristol. We've now lost track of it since the early 1990s and despite requests in the railway press, no news has been forthcoming. If anyone on the list, particularly in the Bristol area, knows where the Noah's Ark ended up, both the Ventnor Heritage Museum and the Havenstreet Steam Railway would love to know where it is.
