Hello Listers, I would like to thank the many listers who answered my request for parents of GEORGE CAVE born SEPT QR 1869 Isle of Wight. Unfortunatley it did not turn out to be my George. Although I have searched for many years I cannot find any information on my mysterious grandfather. He was married here in Australia in 1902, given age 33 years and parents were ALBERT and BESSIE HEMBEST. born Brighton, England. I have been on numerious sites with any sounding name of Brighton. I have had a search done for his registration in England but to no avail. I was given the above GEORGE CAVE and hoped it would be mine.
