Hi all Found this on the 1851 and checked place of birth as one of my husband's Fryer's married a Groves. I was surprised to get a hit. Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb, Kent Road, St George the Martyr, Southwark, Surrey Elizabeth Groves, pupil, unm, age 11, pupil, Isle of Wight Wippingham, deaf and dumb. Regards, Jo Fryer
