Hello Rhoda If the burials of your ABSALOM's were listed as Newport, they would most like have been at the Church Litten Burial Ground in the centre of Newport. This site was cleared and converted for use as a Park in 1955. I do have a list of the memorials, which I will check to see whether your family are listed.
