Hello Helen and any other listers, we found our Eliza Dore on Thursday at the record office, she was illegitemate. This is what we have for Dore's:- Robert DORE and Martha his wife had the following children James Dore 15/11/1792 Niton William Dore 9/11/1794 Niton Mary Dore 21/2/1796 Niton John Dore 31/12/1797 Niton Robert Dore 1/11/1801 Niton Thomas Dore 8/5/1803 Niton Timothy Dore 10/11/1805 Niton Henry Dore 3/4/1808 Niton Charles Dore 26/12/1813 Niton Mary Dore (1796) had two illigitimate children, James Dore 23/2/1817 Niton and our Eliza Dore 16/4/1820 who married John Hobbs of Carisbrooke in 1836/37 Niton. I have no knowledge of the Mary you speak of Helen, but will keep this info in my notes, perhaps at some date we might solve the puzzle. We had found in the records the marriage of David Dore and Kesia Dallimore 1794 Whippingham, the later one of Robert Dore and Sarah Dallimore 1833 Carisbrooke, and an earlier marriage between a David Dore and Mary Hobbs 1788 Godshill, wouldn't she be then Mary Dore' I know its a long shot, but if Kesia was a widow David might of been too, perhaps there were children carried into a second marriage and they would then be siblings, who knows ????????????? Kind regards Andrea Cox. _________________________________________________________________ Tired of 56k? Get a FREE BT Broadband connection http://www.msn.co.uk/specials/btbroadband
