I am researching my family – SINNICKS. My grandfather and two of his siblings came to Canada from East Cowes abt. 1911. One of the sisters, Ada Sinnicks (born Millmore prior to parents marriage), raised her neice, Olive WEEKS here in Canada and Olive remained here until her passing two years ago (she was in her 90’s). I am unclear as to the total number of siblings in this family – I have knowledge of the 4 boys (having an uncommon surname helps greatly) and of the sister who emmigrated, however I have had more difficulty in finding other the girls. I am wondering if the Lucy Elizabeth Pinnick could be Lucy Elizabeth Sinnicks. The time frame and church of marriage certainly work with the information that I have.
