Other than the George WEEKS who married my Gt Grandmother the only other George we have is George Henry, born in Cowes in 1843, his mother's maiden name was ELDRIDGE. WEEKS are only on the family tree because of the above mentioned marriage. My Gt Grandmother was always known by my father and his siblings, as "Granny Weeks" as they were all led to believe she had been widowed with a small son -my Grandfather. It was my wife and I who unearthed the fact that she had given birth to my Grandfather out of wedlock and it is her maiden name we still have. Imagine how many irate pigeon feathers became ruffled when that 'cat' was dropped amongst them!! Many of my Island cousins have disowned me! Happy hunting Derek
