I have been researching the descendants of my husband's 5 x great grandparents, William BULL and Jenny YOUNG who were married at Whitwell in 1763. It has not been included because my husband's grandparents came to the Island in 1948, and I don't know of any connection with any Island families of that name. Janet

Died: 08 04 1882 at Sandown aged 46 Married: Celia (Sometimes written as Selah) NEWBURY 29 Mar 1856 at Godshill. They had seven children from 1857 till 1870. I have names for them all if you require. WEEKS George Born 1834 Wickham Hants (Brother of the above) Parents Robert & Rebecca Married Sarah Ann FOUNTAIN 6 January 1867 at The Bible Christian Chapel Sandown. (Sarah already had a son (Walter -my grandfather- born 17 Oct 1863 at House of Industry Carrisbrooke -father not listed, she is described as 'a single woman'). Thank you Derek. Yes, Celia NEWBERRY is a descendant of William BULL and Jenny YOUNG, she was their great granddaughter and was the wife of Thomas Edward WEEKS. I think we have corresponded about this family before. I will keep you up to date with any progress that I make. Thanks again, Janet
