Hello Beki Thank you for sending the 1851 census indexes. Last week David from Ballarat kindly did the same & I thought I'd found my Jane...however, several of her children were missing...but you've also added the index for Northwood & bingo! there they all are. I've now been able to pinpoint which of the several Jane Urry's (her maiden name) I had, to Jane 1808 d/o David Urry & Ruth. As for husband Thomas Midlane, well there's another story. In 1851 he was serving 6 months at Winkle Street Gaol, Southampton, for smuggling...again! Beki, do you have the folio & bundle/page number for the Northwood entries please?
