Hi I am researching the Trus(s)ler surname and its many spelling variations on a worldwide basis. I have noticed the recent correspondence between Rebecca Lale and Debbie Mawdsley re the surname Midlane and the information about this family on the 1851. Two of my Truslers married into the Midlane family and as a consequence I have some details of the children of Charles Midlane (born about 1813). This comes mainly from the 1881 What I don’t have is the name of Charles’ wife. The IGI suggests that it should be Caroline and the 1851 confirms that a Charles and Caroline are in the same household.
