Dear Evelyn, My 2C4R, Jane DORE, for whom I have scant details only, is the daughter of David DORE and Kezia DALLIMORE (her parents, Thomas DALIMER and Hannah ROGERS)and sister of Mary DORE. David and Kezia were married 24.6.1794 and both had died by 1823. There is a possibility that it was this Mary DORE who gave birth to an 'illegitimate' daughter, Eliza. Eliza married John HOBBS in 1836 - Andrea Cox has all the details! My husband and I actually found David Dore's gravestone in the Whippingham Churchyard - the only grave we found that has any connection to my family!
