    3. Graham Just realised that Hordhill is probably "Hordle" which is half-way between Christchurch and Lymington on the mainland. Victoria County History refers to "Hordle Trenchard" in Christchurch Hundred. John Trenchard was lord of Hordle in 1428. Paul Cutmore
