Hi everyone I just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to your list. My name is Judi and I am a proud Canadian living in Tacoma, WA, USA. My maiden name is Wallbridge and I am from Alberta Canada. On a recent trip home I was able to, for the first time in my life, view the WALLBRIDGE family tree as it pertains to our family and was amazed to discover that I stem from a Richard WALLBRIDGE born 1821 on the Isle-of-Wight. I know not where though. The info I do have on him is thusly: Marriage #1: to Louise EMBERLY Marriage #2: to unknown. Children of Marriage #2 are (a)Laura who married unk KING and had son Fred KING and (b) Allie who married unk TILLY and had no children. Children of Marriage #1 are as follows: George WALLBRIDGE (grocer)(from whom I descend) born 1845 died 1932 married 1870 to Phyllis CLARKE b. 1848 d. 1925 They had 9 children (I have names and dates) Robert WALLBRIDGE no info on date of birth, death or marriage but he had 3 sons and 2 daughters, names unk. Lizzie WALLBRIDGE married unk LOU and had one daughter Hannah WALLBRIDGE married unk ROBSON and had 7 children Louise WALLBRIDGE married unk SEWELL and had 4 daughters Carrie WALLBRIDGE married (1) unk GIBSON (2) unk TITUS (3) unk KINCAID and had 2 sons and 3 daughters. Please note that Richard WALLBRIDGE died 1868 in Belleville, Ontario Canada so at some time between 1821 and 1868 he must have immigrated. We do not know if he married his two wives in Isle-of-Wight or in Canada and we don't know where his children were born either. Is there SKS on this list researching these names and if so, could they possibly fill in some gaps for me. Since I have only had this tree in my possession for five days I have not begun to search myself and don't even know where to search. Any ideas? Thanking you in advance for any info you can provide.
