George SMITH (12 Feb 1794 - 24 Jul 1837 said to have drowned Sydney, son of Nicholas SMITH and Frances HEARN) married 24 Oct 1824 Jane DORE (said to have died 1834). Source for information the SMITH genealogy prepared by the first archivist at the Record Office. I was unable to trace the drowning of George SMITH in Sydney Australia and wondered whether it could have been Sydney Canada.
