I've been looking for information about the WILSON family whom were assocaited somehow with the Seaview Hotel in the late 1800's. Anyway, i recieved back some info from some government department, anyways, it mentions 2 other people so i thought i'd let listers know, maybe it could be useful for someone. Heres is the bit of the email where it mentions there names. They were probably licencees (I think) of the Hotel. "Directories list a Mr Temple at the Seaview Hotel in 1886 and a Mrs Thiebaut in 1888/9. The 1891 directory gives no name, 1894 and 1895 list Mr Wilson, but by 1899 a Mrs Swan is listed as the individual responsible for the Hotel" Perhaps if you have one of the familes listed, you could dig up more info.
