Thanks to mary lou and ann for their replies. Unfortunately neither of these are the ones I am looking for. Arthur Frank and Alfred Percy were my husband's uncle and father respectively. I can follow them both through to 1944 & 1973. Arthur Frederick was (I think) the eldest son of Arthur Dutch (b abt 1864) and Ada Goddard (b abt 1875) and in the 1901 census he was with his grandmother. Just had a thought and have checked the IOWFHS bmd and he was registered as GODDARD,Arthur,Frederick,Dutch. He was obviously born before parents were married. I still have the problem of how he died and would be grateful for any suggestions or advice as to how to find the cause of accident.death. It was possibly an accident on the ice. Cannot seem to find any links to newspapers from 1903. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance Aileen
