Karen What was the cause of death? Ventnor was the site of the Royal National Hospital for Tuberculosis (TB). I have found people who died in Ventnor who were suffering from TB but who were apparently living elsewhere in the town. Trinity Terrace is the opposite end of Ventnor (east) to the hospital, but I have one person who was in Bonchurch at about the same time, so do not let this dissuade you. Hope this helps Jon Baker Karen wrote: Now...comes the next puzzle. What was he doing on the Isle of Wright when his wife was living with their daughter and son-in-law in Hendon? Where was he between the years 1861 and 1879?
