I have enjoyed reading the 'snippets' regarding all the villains in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight during the last century. I was particularly interest in the latest, especially John RICKMAN stealing 2 silver watches from Harry SHAW. My gt. gt. grandfather was Harry SHAW and he was a silversmith/jeweller in Lymington and Newport in 1840 to 1841. If anyone can help me get more information regarding Harry SHAW I would be grateful.
