I recently acquired a will dated February 1736 which refers to Tenements and Lands called Coppid Thorne and Sheepwash, Calbourne, Isle of Wight. I looked on an old ordnance survey map of the island, but could not find Coppid Thorne. Does anyone know of its existence? Thank you. Angela Sherry
