Hi Paul Don't know if this will be of any help, but is it possible that Mary Ann Hadney was registered under her mother's maiden name? This happened to someone on my tree who was born before the parents were married and was registered under his mother's name. The parents later married and he then had his parents ie (Father's) surname and when he died (age 15) he was registered under his father's name. It took me quite a while to find him so it may be worth looking in to Regards Aileen
