Hello I have been trying to trace my gt. gt. grandfather Harry Morgan SHAW. He married Mary Ann WAY in 1840 when he was living in Lymington as a silversmith. In 1841 he an Mar Ann were living in Lymington. In 1844 Harry and Mary Ann Had a son Harry Lancelot on 23 July, with Harry living at Calbourne Mill at the time of registration which was in August 1844. Also in 1844 I have details of bankruptcy proceedings against Harry Morgan SHAW who is a Jeweller, Dealer and Chapman of Newport Isle of Wight. I next have a birth certificate for a Sidney SHAW on 14 January 1847 to a Henry Shawe and Mary Anne Shawe formerly WAY. I am assuming that this Henry Shawe and Harry Morgan are are the same poerson, but I have no other information regarding him. If there is anyone who goes to the Records Office in Newport who could try and find out any more information regarding Harry Morgan SHAW I would be very grateful.
