Bev Circumstantial evidence, her death registration in 1889 gives age as 56. In 1881 there is only one Charlotte Cooper registered on the Island around the right age (48), wife of Adam Cooper. No sign of either on the Island in 1891. The Death Certificate for Charlotte may help to establish her identity, either by means of her address, or by the name of the informant: http://www.isle-of-wight-fhs.co.uk/bmd/deaapp.php?name=COOPER,%20Charlotte&d ate=1889&ref=R32/E173 Jon Baker -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bev Harsh Sent: 17 May 2008 08:39 To: [email protected] Subject: [IoW] Charlotte COOPER death Hello list Please can someone identify who the Charlotte Cooper was who died in 1889? I am trying to establish if she was the wife/widow of Adam Cooper, this would show she did not go to Canada with or after all her family but one son! Have not found a death for Adam. Thanks Bev ************************************** You can contact the Isle of Wight List Administrator by emailing: [email protected] ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
