Hello Listers, I have a forebear whose name was Hannah, born in 1800. All references to her were in that name. Her daughter's name was Anna, born in 1822. All references to her were in that name. Therefore it is quite common to see the 2 names interchanged in a parish register for a Hannah, less likely for someone baptised Ann/e. As to Census their 'known' name is usually the one recorded but rarely a real nickname e.g. junior.
