Hi all,   I am hoping someone on the list may have information on the Cushen families of the IOW. I have got stuck with my gr-gr-gr-gr-grandfather John Cushen who married Mary Waggett in 1779 at Northwood. I have been unable to find out who John's parents were. There are various possibilities as there seem to be several Cushen families living around Cowes and Northwood, also one in Yarmouth. They all gave their children the same names , as they did back then, which makes things harder.
