Garry, First of all, apologies for the hypertext and gobbledegook which is inserted into my original text - probably by a gremlin somewhere. I certainly wouldn't have sent if I'd known that was going to happen. As I said in that email, I did transcribe the address as it had been written which was definitely "Colemans Road". I must now look at the census returns for Colenutt's Road for the mid-1800s and see if any likely Taylers (or Taylors even) lived there. Many thanks for this new line of enquiry.
