Most of you will recall my husbands amazing grandmother turning 103 last year - she passed away late last night 3 months short of 104. Apparently she had a coughing fit whilst eating her dinner then collapsed but came around when the ambulance arrived and managed to speak a few words. Later she spoke to one of her other daughters and the rest of the family were called in to say goodbyes. She died before they arrived. She had a marvellous innings and thank God she did not suffer at the end.
